{"id":7551,"date":"2021-11-21T10:20:56","date_gmt":"2021-11-21T14:20:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.foodieandtraveler.com\/?p=7551"},"modified":"2021-11-21T10:20:58","modified_gmt":"2021-11-21T14:20:58","slug":"amr-collection-realiza-carrera-5k-para-apoyar-colaboradoras-con-cancer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.foodieandtraveler.com\/index.php\/amr-collection-realiza-carrera-5k-para-apoyar-colaboradoras-con-cancer\/","title":{"rendered":"AMR Collection realiza carrera 5k para apoyar colaboradoras con c\u00e1ncer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>AMR Collection<\/strong>&nbsp;realiz\u00f3 una carrera de 5K donde logr\u00f3 recaudar RD$270,000 con el prop\u00f3sito de apoyar a tres colaboradoras que luchan contra el c\u00e1ncer de mama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La carrera se realiz\u00f3 en las inmediaciones del hotel Zoetry Agua Punta Cana y participaron un total de 100 representantes de los distintos hoteles que maneja la cadena;&nbsp;Sunscape Puerto Plata, Dreams Macao Beach, Dreams Punta Cana, Dreams Palm Beach, Dreams Onyx, Dreams Royal Beach, Dreams Dominicus La Romana, Secrets Cap Cana, Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana y Breathless Punta Cana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las palabras de bienvenida estuvieron a cargo de Daniel Hern\u00e1ndez, vicepresidente regional de operaciones de&nbsp;<strong>AMR Collection,<\/strong>&nbsp;quien agradeci\u00f3 el apoyo de los corredores que se unieron a esta noble causa que se realiz\u00f3 con el objetivo de recaudar fondos para ayudar con los gastos m\u00e9dicos a las tres colaboradoras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El primer lugar de la Carrera 5K lo obtuvo&nbsp;Jorge Castrejon, chef ejecutivo del lujoso hotel familiar Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana. Adem\u00e1s, se premiaron los ganadores del segundo, tercer lugar y la primera dama en llegar a la meta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante el cierre y entrega de medallas a los ganadores, Hern\u00e1ndez llam\u00f3 a la prevenci\u00f3n del c\u00e1ncer y a la importancia de la concientizaci\u00f3n acerca de este padecimiento. &#8220;Nos sentimos muy orgullosos de todos los que se involucraron y trabajaron arduamente para realizar esta Carrera 5k y a los participantes que con amor, pasi\u00f3n y entrega corrieron por esta causa&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan autoridades sanitarias dominicanas, el c\u00e1ncer de mama es responsable de una de cada seis muertes en el mundo y en Rep\u00fablica Dominicana se estima que el 35% de los tumores malignos diagnosticados son este tipo de
